In contrast, the province of Balochistan requires special attention compared to other regions of Pakistan to explore its industrial potential and accelerate its economic development. But the pace of industrial and economic development needs the supporting hands of qualified managers, trained managerial human resources, insight into research work and excellent expertise in planning areas in the public and private sectors.

Mir Chakar Khan Rind University is the first HEC-recognized university established in 2019 in Sibi. This university will provide equal opportunities to the students of Sibi and Naseerabad division in particular and the Balochistan province, in general, to acquire higher education in a conducive environment and empower them to lead an enlightened and modern society. The university hopefully will become a centre of knowledge sharing and Research culture, accelerating the speed of Pakistan's economic development.

By considering the need for well-organized resource-utilization, effective resource management, enrichment of administrative ability, and enhancement of managerial talents in Balochistan, the Mir Chakar Khan Rind University, Sibi has established the Department of Management Sciences after its establishment in 2019.
